About Me
I’ve been teaching mathematics since 2003. I taught high school math for two years, and then transferred to the university because of my desire to pursue graduate studies. I took a study leave last year, and at present I am a full-time graduate student in mathematics.
This blog contains my thoughts on teaching and studying, acquired from years of staying in the academe. It might be interesting to see things from the student’s point of view and from the teacher’s point of view.

I am wondering who you are. You are certainly from UP Diliman. I’m not sure if you know me, am here now in UPLB. I got a chance to study at CNRS in Sophia Antipolis, France for my PhD (Mathematics).
My stay in France is one of the memorable moments of my life, and I am sure it will be for you too. Keep on!
Dear Tina,
I’m glad to have found your blog! I am pooling together a network of current and previous Filipino scholars to mentor and assist other aspiring scholars.
Where are you based in France? I am based in Hamburg, Germany. Do you know any Filipino scholar near/from here? Or maybe in Brussels? I’d be happy to meet them!
